Tomorrow sees our next set of ‘Digital Due Diligence’© modules launch here on the Isle of Man. Already endorsed by the University College Isle of Man and the Manx ICT Assocation (MICTA) we are delighted to report that the course is now accredited by Skills for Justice Awards (SFJ Awards). This is after a lot of hard work, ongoing development and collaboration with our partners Sancus Solutions and TLC Business Solutions (Isle of Man).

MLRO’s, compliance officers and risk managers this course is designed for you. The Internet is often turned to when seeking information about people, companies and entities. On our course, you will be shown techniques that enable you to access quality data in a timely and effective manner. With a growing need to protect data we also cover relevant legislation and procedure. Delegates will be taught about what the Internet is, how to search it effectively, maintain records, access all manner of resources and operate in a safe and secure manner whilst online. Feedback has been outstanding from both in-house and public courses.

To take advantage of the accreditation candidates must first attend all four modules of the course. Upon successful completion, they create an account on the following website www.learncompliance.co.uk . A fee is then paid to the awarding body on the website. Delegates complete an online examination consisting of 6 sets of 10 questions. Attaining 70% or more equates to a pass. A certificate will be duly issued by SFJ Awards.

We will continue to professionalise our material and enhance this offering to those working in the very important field of Anti Money Laundering and Compliance. Getting an accredited course under your belt demonstrates credibility and knowledge.
